Self-assessments
The Finnish Geospatial Research and Education Hub – Geoportti – provides self-assessment tools for helping students and other users to identify their current confidence level in selected geospatial topics. These self-assessments offer an easy way to reflect one’s strengths and possible weaknesses in the respective topics.
The tools are straightforward to use and the assessments can be performed in only a few minutes. The themes cover, for example, spatial analytics, multispectral satellite data processing, and participatory mapping. The self-assessment scores can be compared against the average scores of other respondents.
